Thursdays....

Today was quite a busy day... It was my first day COMPLETELY home: no work, no classes, no shopping. I got up had devotions did chores and then worked on Anatomy. After that Mom and the kids headed to Salina for their Co-op meeting. I made Dad and I grilled cheese sandwiches and some bean bacon soup (our favorite). It was nice to just have Dad by myself..... After that I cleaned up the kitchen and Dad got the deer and I butchered it while he went and picked tomatoes trying to save as many as we can before the frost tonight. Here are just a few of the buckets of tomatoes he got:

Then after I finished with the deer I went and helped Daddy finish the tomato picking. When we finished I came inside to start doing what I love: cook and bake! :-D I made chili, cornbread, and cookies. It was a lot of fun! What made it fun was my lil helper here pandora:
