First day with out classes :-O

A friend recently told me that I should start my own blog. At first I blew him off, but then I started thinking maybe that is not such a bad idea after all! Sooooo... here goes nothing! I am not going to promise anything, I might not keep up with it.. we will just have to see! Here is a quick update on what I've been up to: since last October I have been going to Barton Community college taking classes there. I got a job in December working at a Bed and Breakfast. In April I got another job working with a disabled 15 yr old basically teaching him how to take care of himself. With 2 jobs and college I was quite busy. Then I started to have health issues :-( we are still trying to figure out what is going on but basically my heart is acting up and my thyroid is also high. I found my self at the hospital ALOT and really struggling to keep going. God is so amazing through all of this though and gave me a group of amazing friends to encourage me. There were some days (and still are) that it felt like I couldnt do it, but God gives us just enough strength to get through. I ended up quitting my job at the B+B because I couldn't handle it anymore. This last Thursday ended my in class semester and from now until spring I will be doing college online giving myself a break. Yesterday was my first day to sleep in and not go to college! It was hard....... I'm so used to the get up, chores, get dressed, go to college, homework, hang out for a few minutes, work, home that I was in shock! But I think once I get used to it I will enjoy it. I am graduating in December with my associate in Science, but will continue to take college classes for awhile. I actually made the deans list and have a GPA of 3.8 something. I am still working towards my degree in ultrasound, but am keeping busy till then. Ok so I think that is the short version of it! :-) Let me know if you have any questions? I'd love to answer them!

HA!!! So first day home and Dad goes hunting.... Normal since he hunts about 5 hrs a day. He went to the local lake here to some public land parked the van and walked into the woods. With out realizing it he spooked a young buck that then ran out into the road and got hit by a car! Funny huh? Never even used a bullet! HAHA! So road kill was brought home! I was really excited because that meant that I could help Dad gut and skin it :-) the bummer was that we basically lost 1/2 of the deer meat because the intestines and stomach were busted in the accident and it went everywhere on the one half :-( ohhhh well!
Fully skinned

Dripping....

Daddy starting the skin and then he handed it over to me :-D

So yeah that was exciting for the first day home!
